Major severe weather outbreaks hitting U.S.A.

People are beginning to take thunderstorms more seriously

This is to be expected with the clash of air masses a this time of year across North America as spring approaches. The strong jet stream coupled with low level moisture surge, wind shear, and daytime heating all combine to produce extreme instability and the potential for powerful thunderstorms with extreme lightning, hail, high winds, and tornadoes. Some ignorant conspiracy theorists are blaming all sorts of weather modification for these severe weather breakouts but I disagree. The reason we have so many reports now is that more eyes are watching. This is a good thing because finally awareness of severe weather is improving among the general population. Sometime it takes these events over and over to get people's attention and I would say the more you are prepared to learn how to avoid and if necessary take appropriate shelter during these storms the better chance you have of survival.

Let's approach the rest of this year with a heightened awareness of what's going on with the weather so that there are less casualties. We should do the same with terrorism. We don't need a nanny state to take care of us; just some common sense. I applaud all the storm chasers, forecasters and media who were hard at work warning and reporting these events. I know the drill:

Thanksgiving Warmth Across Much of the U.S.

Much of the CONUS is in what appears to be a warming trend as the upper level anticyclonic flow has parked across the entire map and a dry southerly flow is now established across a large portion and in fact the eastern two-thirds of the CONUS. Clearing skies today are the general rule and will allow temperatures to climb into the 60's and 70's across a large portion of the Great Pains into the Midwest region. Even surrounding areas will be rather mild.

But keep up with the forecast this weekend as an approaching upper level shortwave moves into the central Plains on Saturday. We may see a potential for a winter storm system across the corn belt and western Great Lakes region. Also some severe thunderstorms could be possible from the Ohio Valley southwestward to Texas.

Here's where the U.S. Government is accused of some great behind the scenes conspiracy to control the weather. There can be no greater nonsense in the minds of conspiracy theorists today!

This is 100% misinformation from a YOU TUBE channel titled "Dutchsinse". I have seen this before and have to sit back in amazement as 35,000 subscribers and viewers believe this nonsense. This is none other than some brain damaged flake who believes his own lie and thinks it's cute to deceive others into thinking he's some sort of weather forecast professional.

I would invite anyone watching this video here to contact the National Weather Service Office in Raleigh, North Carolina and have them explain what this is to those who entertain one minute of this nonsense from "Dutchsinse". http://www.erh.noaa.gov/er/rah/

So what is this alleged "HAARP FLASH"? It has nothing to do with HAARP transmitters but what it is is simply one volume scan of the KRAX NEXRAD site which was probably being received by the COMPOSITE RADAR in either CLEAR AIR MODE or some other mode instead of BASE REFLECTIVITY. All it did was cause a slight radar anomaly and it was not filtered from the COMPOSITE IMAGERY. Very simple.

Also for those of you who continually allow yourselves to be deceived by "Dutchsinse" so YOU TUBE and GOOGLE can pay him a few thousand dollars per month for his contribution to public confusion this is more of an example of how money is wasted by corporate America on such manipulators and deceivers. This guy "Dutchinse" figured out how to make a dishonest buck courtesy of GOOG via his deceitful YOU TUBE channel. He also likes to play with earthquakes, volcanic activity, and radiation fallout and probably couldn't make it through one semester of logical thought in any space or atmospheric science studies.

This guy also claims to have predicted the Joplin EF5 tornado this year but he didn't warn them so over 100 people died. http://theweatherunit.blogspot.com/2011/06/dutchsinse-claims-prediction-of-joplin.html Well "Dutchsinse" do me a favor next time: Call the National Weather Service and tell them your predictions and we will watch and see if they come true. The idea here is to save lives and property and not have GOOG waste money paying you for your deceptions...I'M WATCHING!

During times like this when dangerous tropical storms and hurricanes are impacting populated areas with tremendous wind damage and flooding concerns we have people here that are making sport of deception and misinformation. They are the great conspirators and deserve to be exposed for their treachery!

HAARP RINGS

There is no such thing as "HAARP RINGS"

HAARP, the Unites States Air Force and United States Navy High Frequency Active Auroral Research Program which operates transmitters and receivers to study the ionosphere and magnetosphere has been the topic of many people who like to distribute misinformation and promote their own propaganda the reasons of which I am unable to figure out. Perhaps it is to just gain popularity because they have nothing else to do or it is a genuine mental illness. As a SKYWARN Spotter and Storm-Tracker it is important to me to relay facts to the public and not spread misinformation in reporting and disseminating weather information. I am writing this post to explain something very simple and relatively obvious about National Weather Service Doppler Radar and related composite imagery:

During times in which the modes of WSR--88D National Weather Service Radar Systems are in CLEAR AIR MODE or even in PRECIPITATION MODE there are certain atmospheric conditions which can result in anomalous propagation during their volume scans. Anomalous propagation is the bending of radar beams and it is common during times of temperature inversions and other phenomena which cause false radar returns or extensive appearance of ground clutter. These are the circles you see usually on individual NEXRAD radar sites. These circular returns are also seen on larger geographic radar composites and appear as circles or "rings" if you will.

Also at times you will see radar "spikes" which are common during SUNRISE and SUNSET and I will eventually post an example here when I have one.

To those who like to dish out misinformation on YOU TUBE for whatever reason, you cannot stump someone who has studied meteorology and is well versed in this science over the last 40 years. Sorry there are not "angels playing with the HAARP" although I could speculate these large transmitters may be used as "attempts" at weather modification along with cloud seeding and seismic activity. But what you are looking at on radar composites are not HAARP RINGS or any spooky "epicenters" of radar cites other than those of the NEXRAD network and TDWR's.

Here is a picture of a NATIONAL RADAR COMPOSITE: These are not HAARP rings. Please note when using sites such as INTELLICAST or some other site, they may or may not have filtering software to take out the ground clutter or false echoes. There are times I would rather just see all the raw data and even the false returns and just analyze what I am observing on my own. As a storm-chaser I do my own personal forecasting to a great extent and the raw data is very helpful to analyze boundaries:
